NOW HIRING: Solutions Manager / IT Sales Executive
Alcom Computing are a dynamic, well known, IT Support company based in Aylesbury who provide first class Technical Support & IT Solutions to small and medium businesses in Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Middlesex & West London. As a growing company we are seeking a Solutions Manager to join our Technical Sales Team and help the business achieve our ambitious next goals.
This is a customer facing role providing Solutions advice and guidance to Small and Medium Businesses from Milton Keynes to Central London.
You will be working directly with our existing and potential new clients to help plan IT budgets for their next financial years, guide them through technological upgrade choices and propose solutions they may not have yet considered.
The successful candidate will work with a high degree of autonomy, while utilizing the skills and experience of the broader team as a whole. Work will be exciting in a sometimes fast paced customer-oriented environment.
The ideal candidate should:
- Be charismatic, friendly, outgoing and confident
- Be driven & self motivated to hit both individual and team targets
- Proficient in using all Microsoft Office applications
- Have 5+ years of sales experience in a similar, multi-client, role
- Have a full UK driving license and be willing to drive company vehicles
- Be polite and professional in approach & appearance
- Be able to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
- Have a great understanding of business technology solutions
- Live within a commutable distance of our Aylesbury Office
- Propose and guide clients on their IT Solutions at client premises or at our own offices
- Produce and nurture tender proposals through to successful completion
- Bridge the gap between the technical delivery team and the customers non-technical knowledge
- Ensure that Solutions you propose are understood by the technical delivery team
- Keep pace with cutting edge solutions and offer them to clients where appropriate
- Keep an accurate record of all communications, proposals & solutions with clients and internal staff.
- Uncapped Earning Potential
- First Salary Potential: £40,000 (or more) OTE
- Generous Base Salary: £20,000
- 28 days holiday per year (including bank holidays)
- Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am to 5.30pm
